Karen Zeller, President

Karen has more than 25 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, clinic administration, practice development/management, physician recruitment and consultation. She founded RM Medical Search in 1995, providing medical search and consultation services.

Associations
Karen is an active member of the National Association of Physicians Recruiters and has served on the Ethics Committee, Board of Directors and has completed two terms as president of NAPR. She served on the Board of Directors of Colorado Medical Group Management Association (CMGMA) from 2009 to 2011.

Getting Personal
A fan of the outdoors, Karen enjoys gardening, hiking, snow shoeing and skiing.

Arleen Richardson, Senior Vice President, Recruitment

Arleen has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in administration, financial management, project management, systems analysis and physician recruiting. She has 15 years of consulting experience with medical practices on establishing policies and procedures, management, monitoring budgets, oversight of account receivables and expenses and recruitment.

Education
Arleen has a bachelor’s degree in business and a Master’s degree in business administration.

Getting personal
Some of Arleen’s favorite activities include skiing, hiking and curling up on the couch with a good book.

Dale Richardson, Vice-President, Consulting Group

Dale’s experience spans from the initiation of start-up practices to managing multi-specialty groups at the CEO level. He has grown and expanded practices while maintaining financial sustainability. Working in both hospital and physician practice administration gives him valuable perspective in navigating the challenges employed and private practices face in an ever-changing healthcare environment.

Education

Dale holds a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance, as well as an undergraduate degree in business and accounting.

Tom Kumura, MPA, FHFMA

Tom is an experienced consultant with highly developed analytic capability with excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and customer service skills. He has advised senior management of hospitals, physician practices and administrators of integrated delivery systems in the structuring and negotiation of transactions with mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes the development of business plans and completion of fair market valuations of over 500 physician practices, medical groups, medical directorships, emergency room on-call stipends and professional services agreements.

Education

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psycho-biology from UCLA and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Healthcare from USC. He is a Fellow of Health Care Financial Management.

Matt Zeller, Operations Manager

Matt has 20 years of management and operations experience in the arts and entertainment industry. Having grown up in the business, he has served in many roles for RM Medical Search over the past 15 years. Matt comes to RM from the non-profit sector.

Education
Matt has a bachelor’s degree in film and media production, a masters and a PhD in Musicology from Duke University.

Getting personal
Matt is an accomplished violin historian and musicologist and is passionate about classical music. He also enjoys playing chess and golf.

Justin Mayhall, Director of Marketing

Justin joined RM Medical Search in April of 2016. With nearly two decades of digital marketing experience, he brings an array of talents from content creation and graphic design to web development and campaign execution.

Education
Justin received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Getting personal
In his free time, Justin enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
