West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a Plastic Surgeon with a Hand subspecialty, to join an experienced group of four plastic surgeons. WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is a tertiary care center for the state of West Virginia, Western Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Southwestern Ohio.
- BE/BC with the American Board of Plastic Surgery
- BE/BC with Hand Surgery subspecialty
- Shared call 1:5
- Typical week includes a mix of clinic, teaching, and two or three half-days in surgery
- Graduating 2025 residents/fellows as well as practicing plastic surgeons with hand surgery experience will be considered.
- Plans to grow division to seven plastic surgeons
- The successful candidate will join a highly skilled surgical team providing all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a high volume of hand surgeries.
- Location can support visa candidates who are eligible for certification with American Board of Plastic Surgery
